BIOS has developed the concept and master plan as well as the economic feasibility study for the Regional Costa Maya Park, an educational facility supporting tourism, research and interest in local marine, forest, and estuarine ecology. The Regional Costa Maya Park will serve the residents and students of Qunitana Roo, the tourist trade that comes to the area’s beautiful beaches and historical ruins, and the research scientists studying at the Sian Ka’an Biosphere. The Regional Coast Maya Park is a comprehensive recreational destination with a Mayan Cultural Center, Aquarium and Swim Through Reef, Jungle Conservatory, Off Shore Restaurant and Bar and underwater viewing area.
