The Aquarium of the Americas
New Orleans, LA

BIOS was the exhibit designer for this innovative aquarium located on the Mississippi riverfront in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The exhibits feature habitats of the Americas - The Amazon, the Mississippi, The Caribbean and The Gulf of Mexico. Support galleries feature plants and animals from throughout the Americas exhibited to interpret adaptation, behavior, or physiology.

We developed the themes, the animal inventory, the interpretive plan and provided detailed design and project management for the graphics, interiors, and exhibits.
