The Seymour Marine Discovery Center

The Seymour Marine Discovery Center is the K-12 Marine Education facility of the University of California at Santa Cruz. The interpretive theme is focused on the career opportunities available in the marine sciences, and on local marine intertidal biology. Touch pools, classrooms, site tours and other features fill out the program. The interior fittings were designed to allow full flexibility and program revision by the Center’s staff.

BIOS designed an interior exhibit package of exhibit frames, film, graphics, living exhibit tanks and pools, and a set of visitor interactive exhibits based on senior UCSC scientists and their work.
