The Calusa Nature Center

BIOS has completed the master plan and economic feasibility study for a major expansion and renovation of the existing Calusa Bay Nature Center and Planetarium. The project will be a $24M improvement to the existing facilities with major expansions that include new educational interpretive exhibits, replicated habitats of the Southwest Florida watershed, and a manatee rehabilitation facility.

BIOS will begin providing project management and design services for the architecture and exhibits when the capital campaign is completed in early 2006.
